I specialize in Integrative Therapeutic Massage. This includes deeply focusing in on problem areas while also addressing whole body stress relief. My main interest is the well-being of my clients. I believe in the body's ability to heal itself and that massage therapy is one of the many paths to restoring health and wholeness to the body.
June 2016 marks the beginning my journey towards becoming a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine starting with the San Francisco State University Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Program. My other continuing education plans include completion of training in aquatic therapy, Naturopathic medicine, Ayurveda, SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment), Arvigo and vibrational medicine/sound healing. My current integrative techniques include massage cupping, Active Release Technique, deep tissue, swedish, sports maintenance and injury prevention, reflexology, aromatherapy, polarity, pre-natal/post-natal, LomiLomi, manual lymph drainage and Fascial Distorion Model.
In addition to running my private practice, I worked as the director of the massage therapy program at Inner-Action Sports Rehab in Oakland, Ca. from 2009-2015. Everyday I strive to continuously expand my knowledge of human musculature, pathologies and soft tissue manipulation while working with a diverse client base with varying needs.

ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE
ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system/movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently with ART. These conditions all have one important thing in common: they are often a result of overused muscles.
